Parent through stories and dramas. Kids respond better in a playful environment. Reinact proper behavior or mistakes. Make believe with fairies and monsters. Kids love it. Tell stories of your own childhood. Bring the problem into the play zone.

Expect children to misbehave. Do not argue with a child. Do not yell at a child. Model calm behavior. Do not force children to do things. If you feel angry just walk away

Chapters 12-20 cover the tom robinson case. Auntie comes to stay and jim grows up. Dill comes to stay cuz he ran away.

Chapter 9-11 are about the beginning of the bullying because of the preparation for the trial. Scout beats up her cousin. Jim wrecks mrs deboze flowers and has to read to her. It’s interesting still to see Scout s view on things such as her uncle switching her and Jim yanking her hair. She’s so quick to forgive and passionate about everything. Short fuse. Chapters 1-8 are mainly about boo radley. Scout and jim and dill (during the summers) have had all sorts of adventures with the gossip surrounding mr arther radley. They play a game, acting out the town gossip. Scout rolled down the hill in the tire running into the radley porch. They collected items out of the knot in the radley tree. Scout hates school. Miss maudys house burns down. Chapter 9 shifts the story

Jessup dies of rabies in the arena. Lucy makes that one appearance and disappears again. Coreo gets sent into the arena to retrieve sejanus and gets attacked and beats a tribute to death. Practice focusing during your nonnegotiable recurring events

There are two things that control our awareness: myself or my environment. Choose to make myself the steward over my awareness. Choose to learn to focus even if it means failing through lots of practice

Practice observation: keeping awareness with you and not absorbed in what it is observing. This is the first step in mastering focus

Awareness can either be aware of what it’s observing or it can be absorbed in it. It is better to be able to hold your awareness in many situations like a well trained dog

Dr gaul tests their honesty And due to the lie, Clemensia ends up in the hospital thanks to poisonous snakes

C. Gets in the cage with the tributes and ends up dumped into the monkey enclosure at the zoo. He owns it, parading lucy around as if she is a fine lady. He sees her again sharing a meal brought by sejanus (a former district two boy who is now the mentor for the district two tribute). C. Having control of awarness will prevent us from riding exaustimg roller coasters and will allow us to stay on course for becoming the person we want to be and thus fulfilling our purplse in life. My purpose is to become like christ and bring others to him and the joy he provides

The more often awareness goes to certain areas of the mind the stronger and more magnetic those certain areas becoming. Making it easier for our awareness to continue to go there.
