omgggg i’m so excited for this sequel i really enjoyed the first book. lots of reviews are questioning the necessity of a sequel but like just cause there wasn’t some cliffhanger didn’t mean there wasn’t more story to be told, like what would happen with the inheritance or the future of their relationship so YAYYY

the only reason i’m reading is cause i’m insanely stubborn. this book is nothing but dialogue it’s so obnoxious and there’s no cyril to cushion it

feels good to be reading again… my bio really took to trulth these past few months. n e ways i’m not sure where this book is going but it seems like another queer adult fantasy like a taste of gold and iron and a strange and stubborn endurance so i’m here for it

okkkk so like this is a dense read: it reads like a textbook which to me i like, it feels like i’m reading nonfiction/historical fiction and is cool, altho i see where this can be a con for some. this also causes the prose to come off as stiff, altho in a way it helps deal the harsh blows that come with the themes of racism… idk

omg so much drama with no plot tehehehe it’s like reality tv i’m living for it… it does have its teeny bopper/poorly researched typical cringe ya moments but i got dis in the target books section 25% off soooo not complaining it’s entertaining and got relatively okay trans teen rep

ohhhhh they’re soooo darn cute i love them together but they just kissed and we aren’t far in so now i’m super scared for what is inevitably going to go wrong
