I appreciated the style of exposition of the characters before getting into the plot. It laid a foundation that allows the reader to test and reconcile the actions against the characters background and look forward to the growth and change of the character in the progression of the plot. The characters are familiar now and the storyline is moving along with interesting potentials for direction.
