From the title and what I’ve read so far, this is definitely a book on infidelity and participating in it. I’m not gonna judge yet but I’m intrigued to see how it goes.

I'm actually quite glad Heaven isn't responding to his texts. Nicolai has my girl MESSED UP.

The graveyard scene and we finally have a name for Heaven's parents. It might be miniscule to most, but I think that's important. We heard so much about them and saw the letters. Putting a name to their essence, their presence, their impact memorializes them for me so deeply. Calling people by their name is important in my world.

You know, I can’t quite figure out Nicolai’s stance yet, but so far, he’s decent. I like how his personality and way of things is written. Solid man.

Nearing the end and the twists and turns that are consistently happening have me pulling my hair out of my head. Omg!!!!!!!

The story gets better and better. The details are something else!!!!

The little Easter eggs of Daisy’s life is the best part to me. I love how we don’t explicitly know what’s happening until it’s happening.

Getting deeper into the story and I truly like the layers to it. Two timelines all woven together.

I just read the single shower scene with Nicolai and my goodness.

Making my way through this story bit by bit and it’s intriguing. It’s a slow start, but a start that gets you right into the heat of the trouble.

I’m glad that Brittany and Jayden are doing the interviews now, but I HATE how this Noah character made it seem like Daisy was just an obsessed child….

I like Daisy’s character the most. A 17-year-old girl who doesn’t seem like she has a clear idea on how the world works, but is a capable and pretending that she does. Just got news of a house left to her and her mother that her mother wants her to make the decision on. For a fictional character, Daisy has a lot of realism to her.

Only on the start of chapter 4 and I already am enjoying this story. My first YA horror and it’s well written. I like how the play between past and present time is happening to tell a full story. Can’t wait to dive in more!

Levee is a little annoying. You’re over 30 and don’t speak?! You got all this glitz, talk, and riches and you’re just emotionally gray. I hope Heartleigh continues to pull at his strings to make him open up.

A little ways in on this quick read and honestly, I love the essence and the vibe of this story. Definitely we’ll written and paced nicely. I wonder what it will bring.

I’m actually pretty glad that Sleigh is putting Harlem in his place. He’s arrogant. He’s egotistical. He’s too full of himself and I don’t like his attitude.

We have Madison. We have Tasha. Two different people from two different worlds, but both are running from something that can cost them their lives….I can dig it.

Jumping right into the action, I think I’m going to like this one. Thrillers aren’t usually my thing, but I needed to try something new and this is first on the list.

I don’t know if Harlem’s advances are heartwarming or gut wrenching…..

Uh uh. Only the second page of knowing Harlem and I don’t like his attitude. This R&B mfer seems a little sassy.

The book really started out with the FMC giving the MCC fellatio…..BRUH.

I like—no, I LOVE Caprice, but damn. She cries a lot, even as an adult. The way she can cry at the drop of a dime always got me a little bit, but I’m empathetic to why. However, why is she about to cry at this dang back to school event? PULL IT TOGETHER.

12 years. 12 years later and OMG. They’ve seen each other again. *screaming and falling out*

The cigarette burn. Gracie trying to force a lie out of Caprice to soothe her own knowledge of what her son did. Shoutout to Miss Kelly for paying attention all theses years later.

Teenaged Shaun and Caprice are cute. They’ve grown but I hate that I kinda have a feeling more bad is happening. The writing in this book is actually really good. It flows and the dialogue is realistic.

This book is really intense and I probably should’ve checked for trigger warnings. But Gracie is kicking Marcel out and I just hope it’s forever…
