Yes, my reading list this summer looks like the senior citizen charter lol

I breezed through that in like less than five hours instead of studying for two tests tomorrow T-T

For a premise that sounds like a bore of a book, I find myself enjoying this. Probably the prose. Some of Cameron’s parts sounded like someone trying to grasp what a thirty something white man would sound like, and the results speak for itself. Aside from that, I love the rest.

This. And the Dalisay piece, I promise, will be the last of my summer reads, except for finishing Demon Slayer ofc.

Okay, so, this will take a while. Dalisay’s prose, let’s say, is overwrought and dense. So this will be a long-time read of mine.

Okay, between the teenage-romantic-drama and the dying-child-amidst-the-plague-tryna-save-his-sister-melodrama, I could say this book is giving me whiplash. Although these sections are tonally different, they’re all tied together by beautiful prose that goes borderline purple sometimes.
