This is a real story that reads like a fiction novel. It’s so interesting to think or fathom all that came from Henrietta Lacks cancer cells.

I read his novel “last one at the wedding” and loved it. Then I found out he’s from Philadelphia, and being that I work in Philly and live in the Philly suburbs, I have to give it a try.

So Mia is a former classmate of Dawn’s.

So Dawn is an interesting character. Very into turtles. In these emails she writes to Mia, she writes pages and formally signs it with her first and last name. At first, I thought Mia was her friend, but Mia only replies a few sentences. Could she be her therapist?

I’m not sure what to think about this book. It seems disjointed in the storytelling.

At first I thought I missed the explanation of how Maggie lost her job. Now I find out her husband Marc, that she has been talking to the whole time, is dead and it’s really AI. What is going on here? Will it all be revealed in depth in due time?

The first 100 pages or so was slow moving. I wasn’t sure I’d be able to finish the book. But it’s finally picking up and getting good 😉.
