hello my fans!! ive made my return to the world of literature. i fear work has eaten me alive, but i felt the yearn to return. i know this is an INSANE return pick for me. a YA romantasy???? in PHYSICAL FORM???? i can’t tell you the last book i read that was a physical book. but im quite into it honestly. like im giddy!!

took a small new years break but we are back at it! i am enjoying the road trip of powerless, so to speak. im not overly attached but its a fun first ride of 2026. i do see myself and my ghost of christmas past in sloane and jasper which is…comforting yet unnerving. but i am liking it. i am especially liking the mouth on jasper gervais. ALSO. BECAUSE I HADNT BROUGHT IT UP BEFORE. SUNNY. yeah that kills me

first and foremost saying that i am separating art from the artist! now, i have a soft spot for broken boys who just want to be loved. currently watching GoT and this is reigning true with my love for theon greyjoy. besides the point, i am loving the somewhat plot so far and love that they’re just trying to find light in the slight darkness. and i normally hate friends to lovers so this is uncharacteristic for me

hello my 3 fans. as you may know, i was in the middle of reading elsie silver’s chestnut springs series. after recent events and time to sit with my thoughts, i’ve decided to come to a pause with that series. there is 1000% better terminology that could have been used and also a statement/apology that should have been put out. that said, time to move on to my next unfinished series

hellooooo new york! ok i do not know what possessed me to finally come back to this book after many moons but i am glad i did. i reread the 40% i had previously read all in a couple hours so this is a good sign! i will be entering uncharted territory when i pick the book back up in the morning (i fear mid afternoon is my morning now). but i am definitely feeling cade & willa this time around and can’t wait for more

and well yes!! christian ‘all of it, malyshka’ allister! um i certainly do get it you guys, i certainly do. one thing i love about this series is how it’s actually quite decently written. does there seem to be any subplot? as said with the sweetest oblivion, no. however i am enjoying this one more than the first one. i’m hoping the last 48% is bombshell after bombshell to really seal the deal

hiiiii after reading part one i just have to say that gianna and christian are literally the embodiment of sexual tension and i love it. my interest has definitely been piqued and i am so glad we are no longer skipping years and having hour long chapters. what ever was the reason for that

GUYSSS rowan kane is shaping up to be in my top 3 book boyfriends of 2025!! mind you… there arent an insane amount of others to compete with but this is still crazy for me! i love how this book is the perfect balance of darkness and light, i am truly enthralled i fear. i’m also loving the insights into the other couples and i cannot wait. the lore seems to go crazy and stupid !

am loving this throughly more than i thought??? they are so cute together i literally don’t care. and the plot is actually eating like this is so tea!! i actually am very looking forward to continuing this trilogy because lachlan intrigues me so cannot wait for the drama regarding king 👑 as for slowan i am obsessed

oh and i would like to believe that this is going to be everything and more to me. i’ve put off reading this for eons and i couldn’t even tell you why because 2 chapters in and i’m already intrigued and giggling. i have a good feeling friends!!

and guys as of rn this book isn’t getting above 3.5 stars but she has been quite the wild ride ;)))) (nobody can pry the cowboy jokes away from me) anyway, i think this is the kind of book i needed to rein ;) me back into the reading world so thank u lukemmy

and as much as i do still think this is insta love, i am enjoying my time and the ways of luke brooks. i dont find there to be much depth and or plot here but sometimes thats what you need to get you back on the horse😉😉😉 sorry i’ll shut up now

this has got to be the twentieth book i’ve tried to read since punk 57 and i’m truly motivated this time to get through it. i enjoy the idea of this book but i just cannot get behind sir luke brooks lusting over madame clementine right away??? sigh men only think with a single appendage held at a lower vantage point

so hi…i finally had some time to sit down with this book as life has been so crazy. i’m liking what i’m reading but also simultaneously don’t know how to feel about it?? i’m not in love with jordans character to tell you the truth, and i think things are moving relatively slow right now, so i’m hoping they start to pick up. NEEDING a man who grovels like pike lawson grovels tho!! #iwillbeyourfatherfigure

FINALLY reading this book. i’ve enjoyed what i’ve read so far and am excited to see the story unfold. any p doug book i’ve read so far has been 5 stars, and i know a lot of people love this one, so my standards are high, but i know the loml can meet them

officially in uncharted territory with ryen and misha and let me tell you im loving every second. im constantly smiling while reading this book, LIKE IDC IF YALL DIDNT LIKE IT!! reading is subjective for a reason (thank god.) i dont even know how to explain it but reading about these two makes me want to be kissed. that’s the most sensical way i can explain this feeling and i’m holding onto it for dear life

fun fact: i have read 50% of this book before but stopped. re-reading now because i wanna get back into devils night, and this is like KIND OF apart of that SO. one thing i will say is i’ve missed p dougs writing style because it’s just so relatable?? at least in my eyes, i understand the chars messy thoughts easily whereas (example) emily henry’s style is very prim and proper and requires a lot of attention

they are so cute and i just want them to bang already and get all that tension out!! on another note, i somehow dont even notice the lack of miles’ pov, like i feel like im getting it even though i’m fully not?? quite the funny story

and you guys, this is shaping up to indeed be emily’s redemption arc with me. genuinely daphne could say jump and miles would go how high. THE MAKEOUT. i was red in the gosh dang face and fanning myself. truthfully better than a lot of smut that i’ve read. him going “friends?” after..you know what it’s okay because even their friendship is INSANE.

this is honestly really cute so far and i throughly enjoy the conversations between daphne and miles. as of right now, i’m not sure where i sit on daphne’s character overall but she’s okay. miles is kinda my prima donna and i want it bad. him not wanting daph to move and being so persistent that he’s gonna make her love waning bay, i said TEEHEE 🤭

hi…we’re ignoring that this is the like sixth book i’ve tried to start.

me reading an emily henry book?? this is how you know the slump is BAD. i’m trying to give her her redemption arc from the most god awful thing i’ve ever read (pwmov.) if you know me, you know the BEEF i have with that book. anyway, this is cute so far, no notes. although, i went into this not knowing its one pov and well, we’ll see

you guys idk what’s wrong with me. insatiable truly fucked me up and now it’s like any book i read, i’m just reading words on a page and not taking it in or enjoying it. i WANT to read chestnut springs but i’m 40% through heartless and i feel like with the state i’m in rn, i’m not doing the book justice and so i have to dnf FOR NOW. i will return in the future but i just can’t while in my slump

and so my current reading quest is to finish all the series i’ve started and deserted. TECHNICALLY, next on the list was the knockemout series. i read things we never got over 3 years ago, and going into book 2, i was confused as hell and truthfully bored. i think as a reader, i’ve evolved in an immense amount and reading is SUBJECTIVE!! so goodbye knockemout, hello chestnut springs

and as much as a slow burn pains me MY LORD does it pay off. 30 chapters in and i was hot and bothered curtesy of sir christian harper. i know things are coming so i am living in fear of course but this is HANDS DOWN the best book in the series and is shaping up to have a high rating #edgeofmyseat #christianharperweneedtomeet

ok and so well i’m now severely confused because christian is indeed NOT her stalker. which like, tbf i shouldve known this but like i cannot get over this mans OBSESSION. they had interacted THREE TIMESSS. and he’s over here like close to in love with her. like i get the delulu king because i am myself very acquainted with delusion, but this might be too much

the vibes of this one already feel 100x better than twisted hate and i’m like giggling over here. i fear i may have figured out the entire plot of the book in a span of a few pages. MAYBE NOT THO, like i for sure could be way off. but tell me how mr christian harper is laying claim and is OBSESSED with stella after three conversations. THREE. either this man is her stalker or is as batshit crazy as me #twinbitches
