I was in dire need of wintery nostalgia, and C.S. Lewis is definitely delivering.

It does get a little difficult to read this along something that's obviously a little better-written. (I'm listening to the Legendborn audiobook, but still, the sentiment is the same)
And these NAMES are making me go cross-eyed. Ravenpaw, Graypaw, Firepaw, Bluestar, Crookedstar, Brokenstar ...like my brain is begging for mercy, please

Pretty good so far! Even if it is in first person (not my fav), and the parts that focus on the romance do feel the teensiest bit tedious to me (also not a romance fan), but this is a YA novel so I sort of expected it. I like the plot and the magic system so far!

Okay, I just HAD to see what this series was all about. (I never got to read any of these when I was growing up) I remember so many people being into these books, and it's a such a vibe.
