Lots of things from this book are already annoying me.. like why would you go to college in New York City and then (post graduation) think you can live on a part-time job at a bookstore? 😐 this is everything that’s wrong with America. I hate how this trope is romanticized in novels.

I’m already annoyed. Why did the POV briefly switch from third person limited to third person omniscient? -when Bastian (ugh the names haha) remembers the “kind of girl” Emma “was”

Ok so, I don’t understand when Koen says things like, “if you were mine then…” when he’s the one that 1. told her he doesn’t want her in that way (which duh, we can tell he’s lying) and 2. he is the one beholden to the “celibacy covenant” soo yeah, why does he make any comments like that?

There hasn’t been a ton, but enough to be confusing.
