I’m starting to like the tone of the book. it all seems very simple, like a meandering walk across a field. But I guess the drama and realism of it paces well. I like the way the foundation was paved at Hailsham, it’s a strong insight into the character’s and their dynamics.

at part 2! it’s a very simplistic book so far, but has a lot of richness and stylistic tone in its simplicity.

I wonder who the book is supposed to be addressed to.
