it’s so refreshing reading about the simple pleasures they enjoy in their life and the harder truths and pains they face

love the contrast of the heroic name cool names such as snakes tongue and the formal dialogue.

also adore how the book is centered around the simple pleasures in an ants life such as a full belly and the on the opposite side death

“i don’t know, probably just gonna scroll through instagram all day” writing is so cringe it’s making me want to die

covid 19 was also mentioned in a horrible cringy way
(prolly a time traveler) mentions covid, and no one understands

it’s a slow paced book where you see the day to day life of two very different people. It’s like reading a diary of a person where every day grows sadder and more lonely. It was beatiful and the book was filled with beatiful quotes. i didn’t cry, but it did leave me feeling empty.
