P.S. this is not a knock, this just an observation:
“I only know how to use three words to describe sexy stuff and anger, but I have a PLETHORA of ways to describe depression and PTSD!” Oh. My. God. I have never needed a trigger warning on a book. Not even Butcher and Blackbird. I have never once been triggered by a book, but she writes this stuff so well that it made me uncomfortable. Which I feel it should do.

I’m just now starting to get to the part of the book where the story starts merging to make sense. It’s so well written but right now I’d give it 3 stars. It took more than half the book to get interesting, but I know it was set up for the long game of the story. I struggle to enjoy slow burn books in the story, but others may love it. It’s written really well.
