so I guess I’m currently fulfilling my every two year read? I was going thru books I’ve read and this book, I never did annotations so I’m doing a reread to do that. god I love annotating. also I can’t believe I was capable of reading this in a day for the previous two times I read this

this book has so many banger lines (banger as in therapeutic and its ability to hit issues right on the head)

oh my god this book is quite literally on the path to becoming one of my new faves and I’m on chapter 4. THIS CANNOT DISAPPOINT ME ISTG THIS HAS TO BE AS AMAZING AS I EXPECT

only reading this because I want to read the third book of the series (yes, I’m reading out of order) but it literally came out today so I can’t get my hands on it. lowk, so far the writing is pretty good which is surprising because this came out before unloved and unloved was giving wattpad so hopefully the writing continues to be good!

Tyler is a d1 asshole and this whole story feels very high school but slap college terms on everything so it seems like they are in college. what in the wattpad bro.

watching love story, the show about jfk jr. and carolyn bessette has suddenly got me down the kennedy family rabbit hole and if you know me, I’m also a sucker for time travel so let’s buckle in folks for this almost 1,000 page ride

I highly recommend trying to read (just in general) when you’re in a half-conscious sleepy state because when you recognize a few sentences and then inevitably fall back asleep, those few sentences influence ur next dream and it’s quite the trip

everything about this book infuriates me so far

I lowk don’t like books when the ml ends up being the one that the fl hates and never thinks they’ll be with at the beginning (i.e. Better than the movies) and then the story becomes “oh, sometimes it’s the people who helped you along the way rather than the end person themselves.” I fear this book is exactly one of those stories and I am not looking forward to it

upon reevaluation, I think I only read the first chapter last time I tried to pick this up. now that I am arriving at chapter three, I think I’m moving past the rut I once had with this book and am starting to get interested in

ok so here’s the thing, I’m like 99% sure I started this book last year if not two years ago and I remember getting bored after a couple chapters in and while I rarely remember the plots of books after I finish reading them (an issue of mine, I know) I vividly remember struggling to read this and remembering almost exactly how it started so I’m going to try really hard to stick to it and finish it this time.

it took me way too long to realize that the person speaking is being indicated by font because I was reading in only one font before IT ALL MAKES SENSE NOWWWW

I accidentally read the appendix thinking that it was part of the main story and was so confused what the relevance in 20 pages of talking about the vocabulary meant

I really hate this book

I hate when you can tell when a book is written by a man and let me tell you, this book was written by a man 😑😐😑
