Sooo tempted to DNF. The cringe is grating and the plot is hanging on for dear life.

The dialogue is just getting progressively worse. It’s a mixture between cringey and campy… like the characters thought their words sounded cooler in their heads or something.

This is probably the worst romantic pairing I’ve yet seen. Fisher treats Saeris like a slave for being human instead of Fae. This has not let up. Worse yet, he sexualizes her without seeing her as worth anything, which comes off gross, frankly. Their whole dynamic starts with forced lusty moments that don’t feel organic. No improvement so far
