a whole bunch of nothing is happening so far

MY JAW IS ON THE FLOOR. THE END OF CHAPTER 48. HOW DID I NOT SEE IT COMING ACTUALLY. OH MY GOD.

I had missed my hannah so so much. the small crubs of their relationship and how in love they still are melt my heart. or hannah seeing right through ryder. family right there. I adore them all. like even if I did get a bit bored with the plot at times, I could never ever say a bad thing about this family. I really hope we get to see ryder going on the family trip at the lake. pretty please.

how is it that my top 2 fave mmcs in off campus are as of now garrett graham and his son in law?? I might have been very slow reading so far buut I'm truly enjoying it a lot now. it picked up very nicely to the point that I feel conflicted because there are parts I was bored during/didn't enjoy. like some of the 1rst chapters. I now see the chemistry. I am loving the characters and I am looking forward to chapter 42!

I SCREAMED AT THE END OF CHAPTER 19 OH MY GOD. I'm kind of struggling to keep up with my emotions because one second, I'm not having a good time, and suddenly, something will happen, and I'll be screaming excitedly.

I might be reading it very slowly but I am enjoying it so far!!

I reread and annotated the progress I had made yesterday and am continuing it now. I'm in love with them and at the end of chapter 37 my heart cracked a tiny bit. And now I'm starting to think the real enemies to lovers for book two will be between me and rafe to get me to like him because right now, I don't like him thaat much.

I need this book to never end. I literally went back today and reread the chapters I read yesterday bc I loved them that much. I only do that when reading books that will join my favorites of all time. Then I continued it and I already know I'll be rereading these chapters tomorrow. Everything about their relationship and the trust and the slowness, I love it. I need them together for real alr. I stayed up all night.

I am having an incredible time with every single chapter and I can already feel the hangover I'll get when I finish this book. I'm only 37% in but I'm basically devouring it like there is no tomorrow. I struggle to put it down. I love West. I love Nora and I am SO EXCITED. It's that feeling of knowing you've probably found another book to add to your all time favorites.

honestly, it lost me a tiny bit for no more than a few pages. it is irrelevant but I'm still putting it out there. IRRELEVANT BECAUSE NOW IM SCREAMING CRYING THROWING UP. I LOVE THEM. it's exactly what I wanted and needed to read now. I love the self defense session and I loooved the mock arguing and oh my god I love the whole chapter 17. I literally screamed and squealed at the end of it. i can't wait to continue.

umm I'm sorry. what. this is kinda making me to never want to pick up another age gap book ever again. how is there spice already???? a d why did he- anyway. I'm very sorry because I wanted to enjoy this but idk. Maybe this is the start of a slump? I really need a book to blow my mind after this.

I'm thinking I should take a step away from christmas books for a bit after this. Maybe leave it for the days closer to christmas. I don't know. Also... she has a pink bob and im not sure how I feel about that. I'm really starting to believe it's just wrong time after two books that I enjoyed (an arranged marriage that was excellent and the christmas one that i ultimately thought was adorable) but let's see.

I'm far too mentally unstable for this which is why I'm ranting here. The alternative is starting to cry in the middle of the night. Which I might do either way.

I'm so heartbroken. I love both of them so much. Together and individually. I can't believe I'm this close to the end of it😭 I'll miss everything about this and the comfort it's bringing me in a bit of a weird time irl. But I also need to read more and oh my god. I need them to get through this.

He- The jealousy- Her- The surprise- The limo- I love them far too much. Oh my God. If there is a third act breakup (which if I had to guess, there is), it will shatter my heart and I'm not ready in the slightest. I could write an essay on how much I'm loving this so far and how much much I love both Vivian and Dante (enough to revisit the scenes from Twisted Lies a book I didn't love) but I need to continue.

I absolutely looove when the mmc speaks a foreign language and I have to look up the translation of what he says. I love it. really trying to take this slowly and enjoy it.

I'm loving everything about this soo much. I need the rest of the book to keep this up😭😭 I'm obsessed with the "mia cara" a little too much and their chemistry and connection. please let nothing ruin this.

Dante Russo. How is he exceeding every one of the expectations I had??? If his character stays like this until the end, he'll become my second fave Ana Huang mmc behind Rhys Larsen.
