These last few chapters rasa meh sikit compared to the earlier chapters. Banyak benda yg aku cam "ha tak faham?? Apa kaitan." Atau aku disagree by "that's an unfair comparison." Susunan points pun cam terabur sikit/less coherent than earlier chapters.

Despite the low rating on Goodreads, I found this essay compilation remarkable.

Buku 3 >>> buku 1&2

Baca buku ni sebab aku nak bahagia lol. So far so good. Membantu nak jawab persoalan "aku nak buat/kerja apa ni." Tapi currently in the controversial marriage chapter. Indeed, controversial haha. Tapi siapalah saya untuk menidakkannya. Lagipun aku tak tahu sangat imam Ghazali's comprehensive view. Kot2 ada better insights elsewhere to understand his pov (kat karya memana dia)

Restarting this cuz I forget the plot already. Pretty sure I was halfway through the book. Andddd let's see, I started reading it in 2022

Enlightening so far. The content is something that I always knew in the back of my head, but it's just... there... messy. So the book is like a slap to reality; making me more aware of the entangled thoughts, and unraveling them one by one

Bought this just bcs my friend asked me to buy something from JIWA. Def not a regret, I learnt A LOT, linguistically speaking. Plot? Hm that's TBD. I can see where this is going, the potential it holds- the time travel and whatsnot. But I've a hunch it's going to be slow. This thick novel mighhttt slightly an all-style-no-substance, as in, all language no plot progress (an exaggeration ofc but yknow what I mean)

I'm truly excited to read the next chapters 🥹 It's even more meaningful when you know the 7 book chapters = 7 days in the book. And idky, but this would be my third book in a row that discusses the death concept haha. My previous ones surely did help me to contemplate this book more

I'm 20% in, and found it hard to finish. Mainly because it's fiction, and the story hasn't been able to engage me yet. Perhaps because I'm so used to the visual form of fiction

This book is divided into 3 parts. So far, the first part is underwhelming. It feels superficial and oversimplified

Fuhh, what a ride. Alhamdulillah finished it! Will be writing a review SOON!! P.S the book was so hard that I asked my friend’s opinion on Ibn Rushd vs Imam Ghazali .-.

Being once admitted into the Msian National Gifted Centre, this book is high-key intriguing (and relatable). I could feel my intelligence is deteriorating over the years lol ;-;
