It’s awful. So boring and repetitive

Loving this classic novel so far.

Feeling a little guilty for laughing over so much death and sadness. I can see why so many Irish have taken offense to the stereotyping but hey this man lived it.

Can't recall if I've read any of Laura Lippman's other novels but I love her style. Many reviewers have likened her style to film noir, which definitely appeals to me. Double Indemnity is one of my favorite films of that genre. I'm predicting some plot twists but hopefully the ending doesn't disappoint, as many reviewers have commented...

Way too many topics covered in this convoluted mess of a book. Stuck on a plane with only this book as my reading material, I’m sticking it out till the end. And who would just go about her life like normal after hearing your daughter nearly OD’d? I would be on a plane so fast.
