one thing i’ll say is that i have literally no clue where this is going

huh.

yeah that was brutal . rough first story

I’m not usually the type of person to make a stink about t this sort of talk but people do not talk like this . like at all

Lots of direct quotes in this i’m feeling a little disconnected from
whatever point this is trying to make it feels like it’s just talking at me

I am not sure how much I like this. Comes across a bit like when they dangle cameo characters in a marvel movie

the most interesting part of this book is the discussion on colonialism and how it’s affected yoga. how is a history of the sexualization of temple dancing in india, and the pivot of yoga from a religious practice to a health phase the most interesting and compelling part of your book on cults. Cults. dpmo

so i did not complete my quest to read the book before i saw the movie but it’s proving to make me a very effective hater

trying to read before i go see it which may not work out given im notoriously bad at finishing books but I BELIEVE!!!!

was mid sex scene before i remembered i was on the train and switched books.
