so far i really like the tone of the author, i think his voice is very good and i am interested to see what happens from here and how things come together!

now there’s two types of dudes in fantasy and it’s dudes who give head and dudes who don’t

‘were y’all fuckin???’ the big questions are getting answered truly because i have been thinking the same damn thing

so the plot (chaos) makes a lot more sense when the lead is actually not a sturdy lesbian but in fact a messy bisexual. there’s other shit happening but this is a really important factor to the plot

already off to a great start. we got highlights such as: man wants to fuck the ocean. mean lesbian. small child with small rat. brown gay boy raised by lesbians who owns a bakery. what more does a book really need tbh

there was a ghoulish aspect to the second phase of living.

so far this book is interesting in a really deeply uncomfy way, like you know the shoe is gonna drop but you don’t know how or when. interested to see where we go from here

really unsure on if i like this book but i’m determined to find out by reading the whole thing lol

so this book is apparently four different stories. did not know that. got through the titled story (his black tongue) and it was fun.
wasn’t exactly the most revolutionary thing i’ve read but i enjoyed it; however it left off on a really compelling note and then there’s just nothing?? wish we got to explore that more.
second story also not revolutionary lots of walking but nothing unpredictable. easy read.
