Struggling to get myself to care about these characters

I’m actually obsessed with this book - will I stay up the rest of the night to listen to it?

Am I loving this book or hating it? I’m not sure, but I am finding the main characters very frustrating and disappointing

The tension in this book is almost unmatched. And I’m not sure that I am on anyone’s side right now.

This book is so so good

This might be one of the best family dramas I have ever read

This book has me hooked! I have been listening for hours today.

I think I’m more confused than anything. Slow start, now reaching part 2 and not sure why there are even “parts” to begin with because it seems we are continuing the story as normal? Maybe things will become more clear soon.

I’m not hating it but I definitely think the summary given about this book is a little misleading. We’ll see how this goes! I have been looking forward to reading this one!

June says she loves her job but I’m not seeing how 😅 I hope we see lots of character growth in her.

I was nervous going into this one because time travel is not my favorite… and it’s seeming that I had a right to be nervous. At the moment I find Lexi/Alexis incredibly annoying at both ages.

Going well so far. But why are all of these characters so randomly violent in their fantasies? I don’t think their fantasies (in the last one bad in this one) match their character development at all.

Love: the chapters from the Plane People and their worries about their fates.
Loath: every chapter from Cherry’s perspectives

I think at least 3 or 4 chapters have ended the same exact way… I definitely think this one is a step down from the first two.

In reference to Anne - “She’s the one person I can always depend on, the one person I can always trust.” Uh huh.

Good Lord at this point I have basically convinced myself that every character big and small did it.

I’m confused because back on page 188/189 Adam and Rebecca state they know of Nicholas Miller and are going to call around to get in contact with him. But on this page, Rebecca is presenting what she found. The second file is “Nicolas Robert Miller” - they act like he is new to the chat. If they were specifically looking for him, the reaction doesn’t make sense.

I have some crazy long shot guesses right now…. Like was it Sarah??

I could for pre octopus input - he is the best.

This has been a slow start book but I’m enjoying my ride so far

Things are finally starting to heat up a little bit. I do like the timing of the “Now” bits as the before plot line continues. Curious to know how many more twists can be packed into these last 100 pages or so.
