The final battle in 7th is an unplanned final battle of Lord of the Rings Return of the King. The land collapsing under the enemy is just that, and it’s not even epic, it’s just bad
I’m really upset because this author sold her soul in order to write 3 filler books filled with the scenes and plots of the best fantasies, and the cherry on top of the cake is that it’s poorly written and vulgar and void of depth

In the span of a 10 min long chapter Judd died the shittiest death and the big bad king dies a very quick death, all this for… NOTHING. And you know what ? I couldn’t care less for the death of any character because they are useless.
When I think that I have read more than 1400 pages where NOTHING happens and then read an important battle and plot driven scene in probably less than 10 pages is mind-boggling

Please please please tell me that the Emonje POV wasn’t created for Judd to have a romance arc. 🙏🏻

There are many wrong things happening in this serie for all these strong FLC. After defending her people, QUEEN Malina ends up the weak submissive of a man.
In book 4, Auren gets f*cked unconscious in order not to attend a meeting ABOUT HER by the man who promised her to never let anyone take a decision in her name. WTH is wrong with you RK why did you accept a 6 books deal to write this undermining of women?!

Malina became a fierce magic wielder and leader in a few days while Auren struggles after having her powers for at least 10 years. It’s important to underline the fact that even in situations of imminent danger for herself or others she wasn’t able to do a single thing useful…
Like predicted the romance of Malina is spoiling everything! Why do we have a sex scene in the middle of battle?!

The only part interesting is Malina’s POV (going to get spoiled by romance)
I quick read every parts with Auren because it’s just her eating, cleaning up, reliving, guilt-tripping, convincing herself that she can’t get played by others again and be played again because she decides to be reckless and stupid. And the boring awful descriptions of Annwyn and random new characters😩
