kristas boyfriend is getting flirted with and she is trying to do something to get them all away. the author uses the metaphor of a dog marking its territory

imbalanced, familiar trek,
Krista and her friend are talking about her younger sister and then the scene switches over to them seeking out to go to a party

Charlie is the younger sister and she has been recruited to play soccer for her school. during a heated argument at dinner, she tells Krista about it to make her even madder. soccer is Krista's sport and Charlie quit years ago.

so far it seems good so far right now the book is introducing the characters krista and charlie.

I'm not going to finish the book. I don't think I can make myself keep reading

Cassie would pick "when people ask me how I'm doing" cause she feels that she has no one she can really tell abt her situation

pichouette- it means naughty little girl, it's French. Alex her husband calls her this after finding her. I find it disgusting that he calls her this cause as the reader I know that he has been hurting her.

one lesson i have learned through this book is that people make assumptions purely based on how you look. You should always treat people the way you want to be treated.

Cassie now knows her last name and more about her job as an anthropologist. Her husband who is in Scotland filming a movie has just found out what has happened to her

Cassie, the main girl in the story has amnesia and Will has found her. he's been taking care of her and trying to help her remember.

I just started and I think it will be good. I don't really like stories that feature abusive relationships but I think it will still be good and I can get through the book.

shannons father has hurt her and she is in the hospital. Johnny has just found out and is now rushing to get to her. he also confronted her brother about lying to him about her father hurting her.

I can see Johnny daydreaming about Shannon during class or while he's in the hospital recovering.

one of the main characters has just had a nasty sports injury and he believes if he can recover faster then everything will go back to normal and play again

There are a group of really mean girls and they put Elanors clothes into a toilet during gym. she now has to walk to the counselors office with the soggy clothes. I would have her walking really fast, with her shoulders hunched forward. her eyes and head are down like if she cant see them then they cant see her type way.

Park's mom gives Elanor a makeover and Elanor feels like it makes her look fake. The next day Park is shown wearing eyeliner to school. His dad is very made but Park is wearing it I think to show Elanor it doesn't make someone fake. He also states it makes him feel cool and very punk which is his aesthetic.

It's Christmas and Park and Eleanor are having this time alone as he walks her back to her house. She reveals to Park about her family dynamics and lets Park know more about her which is what he's been longing for her to do.

Park was the last person she expected to see standing there. Her heart leapt out to him before she could stop it. He was going to get them both killed. Shots had been fired for less.

If I were shooting a movie I would put Eleanor in older clothes that are second-hand. Whereas Park I would put in name brand Nike and Levi jeans. They are just hanging out in park's room after school so that is what I imagined them in

the characters are very light-hearted and happy in this chapter. if I were acting it out I would be like bouncy and giggley

i see the theme of family issues coming in between them

the relationship between elanor and park is growing stronger but there is a lot lash back form kids at school still. park get fed up and so after they get off the bus he punches a kid calling he names

I would pick Shannon Purser to play Eleanor. And for Park, I would pick a young Ki Hong Lee. I feel like they would capture the vibes of both characters accurately.

I guess the symbolism that has shown up throughout the book so far is a tape player. the tape player allows both of the characters to escape to a place together cause they long to be gone together. It also show their similar dreams and how they share them with each other.

The chapter sets up a date between the two main characters. On top of the date, the setting of the school keeps them separate. " I feel like we have a date," he said. "Is that stupid?" "No," she said. "Even though we're together every day..." "We're never really together," she said. "It's like we have fifty chaperones." "Hostile chaperones, Eleanor whispered. "Yeah," Park whispered.
