This is devastating! A young woman (clearly a day dreamer and romantic), married a man unable to give reciprocal love and devotion. He is happy to receive a bride to keep him or distract him from his loss of a wife he loved. Will she ever be adored? Will she actually be loved? Or is this a transactional marriage?

I'm really enjoying this!

I LOVE this book!! It’s so cute and so many laugh out loud moments!! The audio version is on point

At this point...I'm just trying to finish it. But it has not been fun to read...

Ugh! This is such a disappointing read so far! We're spending WAY too much time living in the trauma so many characters! And now exploring gender dyphoria among soldiers?!? They are in the middle of a war and that's what our characters are busy navigating? Someone tell me the ending is worth it!

This does not feel like a Brandon Sanderson novel we all know and love

Okay....Diem is getting on my nerves!

I really do love her writing! She does suggest avoiding reading a couple chapters of you want to avoid the spice levels. I absolutely LOVE this family as all the stories told over the course of the series. I think her characters have deep emotional depth, and the romance is really a side character to what develops in her novels! I can’t wait to read the last novel in January, 2026!!

😭😭😭

This is HEARTBREAKING, but I can’t stop reading! My first Kristin Hannah book and I love her writing already! I feel like I’m in this with all the characters.
