Enjoying it so far

It is odd how something that is nearly 5 stars on audible is less than 4 on goodreads, because I think id like it more as a read vs the audio performance.

Here's hoping I get used to how cringe the male voices sound from the narrator because I bought the whole series without previewing.

This is such a depressing book

Slow to start but now im ensnared

Disgusted. Intrigued.

Vile... in a good way? Def a grim, dark, fantasy world.

It's... otherworldly? In a way that is hard to visual. Nothing is sacred in this book as it writes death and ever so commonplace. Truly a gritty and undesirable world. On top of that is overly dense prose and fictional words that can make it feel like mud at times. Yet I still want to figure it out.
