the poem “home” made me cry

i accidentally stopped reading for a bit but i’m back on my grind and almost done with chapter 1. there’s lots of basic feminism stuff here, a lot of stuff i already know or have thought before but it’s nice to read it from a different perspective.

some of the stuff being said about mothers and children is kinda weird, but i’ll try to arrange my thoughts more when i’m done with the book.

enjoying it!! some of the poems are a bit whatever but wendy cope is a very talented poet. i particularly like the poem “goldfish nation”
