Obsessed with this book. Reading it gives me the same enjoyment I had while watching Ponies in the ~loosely historical fiction~ sense. I've had it on my shelf for a couple years and I've tried starting it a couple other times and this time it called to me and I literally feel like I can't put it down.

Sat down and devoured 132 pages immediately. On a school night nonetheless. I KNOW I KNOW. A religious book yikes. But this is the most gorgeous story about Ana living in the religious times. Not even about religion literally at all so far. Insane. And I've heard it somehow gets better.

I just keep repeating "this book is awful" every time I put it down. Really choppy writing but I guess there's an audience for everything. I think it's supposed to be a slow burn? I'm just making myself finish the book to show myself I can do hard things!
