Published around 1900. Sequel to EIGHT COUSINS.
Found in grandmothers’ old books.
Different to read - slow going but interesting. Much conversation of what women can & cannot do, as expected of them in that era.

That’s the “....in Bloom” part!

Tough read - so almost (if not) over my head about THE church I early 1950’s.
Some big personality clashes that I don’t like, makes me uncomfortable -BUT. I want to read further to see how it plays out!

Probably I should just start a “cozy mystery” - NAH.

Very different from what I usually read.
Two clerical concentrating on evaluation of purpose and reasons for wishing to leave the priesthood.
