Sooo how I found out I can’t see comment notifications on desktop but I can on mobile?? Does anyone else have this issue? I’m sorry to anyone who has commented in the past and I didn’t see it due to not getting notified 😭 I usually only use desktop, so I was shocked to realize I haven’t gotten updates about comments!

Having read the dining room scene, I think something that isn’t reflected quite as strongly in the manhwa is Penelope’s deep anger and frustration. I believe they ARE shown, but there is something that has just has hit differently here where I don’t remember it being this strong in the manhwa?

I think so far the biggest difference between the novel and manhwa is that the manhwa is more toned down because I had no idea that Winter’s affection meter dropped so low! 😳 He was my “all-in” guy at the beginning of the manhwa, but I would say he’s pretty scary the way he’s conveyed in the novel 😅 But on the flip side, he did have the most romantic moment so far 😆

Okay, everything with Eckles has been A LOT more intense then the manhwa 😅😅😅😳

I don’t remember that memory in the manhwa 😳 I don’t remember her saying how she much she hates her brother on the verge of passing out either. If that bullying scene was based on real-life Korea, that is all the more terrifying 😭😭😭

The first chapter was good! From what I remember, it closely follows the manhwa, but Derrick seems more…colder? I feel he’s the same but I felt more fearful around him reading this then I did the manhwa 😅

Okay Hoshina’s story is by far the best yet! Deeply engaging storytelling!

I felt it took me a little bit to get fully hooked on Shinomiya’s story, but once I did, I was locked in! The fight was INTENSE!

I’m loving this volume so much! 🥹 Everyone looks so amazing!!

Volume one was cute! I felt the end was the part that had me wanting to read volume two because I didn't feel overly hooked before that? Though there were some really thought-provoking conversations about pride in what you do, not overworking yourself, and the beauty of humanity. I'm hoping I feel more excited after reading volume two because I would be interested reading more for the themes alone!

This could be soooo much better if that stupid cat/angel/thing wasn’t around!! Just when I start enjoying the story again, his faces shows up and I get so angry all over again! 😤 The magical girl and evil lieutenant have been cute though!

This has been so much fun to read so far!!
