Well it’s been a while since I’ve read something, after Malaysia life has been pretty hectic so I never really found the time. But I’m happy to be back in a new world and wanted to start with something small and easy! Absolutely loving it so far though!

Telemachus and Odysseus having their reunion after 20 years was so breathtaking, such beautiful writing. There whole scheme to overcome all the bastards trying to get at Penelope is so sick as well, I can’t wait to see how it goes

“Odysseus the wanderer had reached his native shore”
Odysseus retelling his years of torment and torcher might genuinely be the most captivating story I’ve read so far. The constant references to other gods, The looney tunes esk adventures. It was all just action and incredibly hard to put down, I’m going to be really sad when I finish this because I have loved every second.

Telemachus (son of odyssues) has been met and the plot has pretty much been set in stone, the intro 50 odd pages or so were incredible and I can only imagine how much more impact it would be having read the other Mythos, I can’t lie I am yearning to continue to read this, I’m so locked in it’s not funny.

As much as I love dune, Chapter house was dragging for me and I honestly just had the urge to read this more. I’ll definitely finish chapter house once I’m itching for it, I throughly enjoy the way Stephen Fry writes so far!

I love how Dune is no longer the power of spice or politics, it’s Sex. Plain and simple sex like why tf is an orgasm a fucking weapon 💀

This book doesn’t have the same starting as any other dune since like messiah, there’s barely a time jump and we are pretty much right where we left off and I’m already hooked, thank god cause it usually takes me about 2 weeks to finnaly process everything

I read so much today purely because this book flows so incredibly well everything is happening at once so you just can’t put it down, genuinely the first time a book has captivated me so much to the point I chose reading over watching one piece. RAPTORS ARE FUCKED

The river raft scene will go down as one of the most peak chapters I have ever read. I felt sick with how intense it was, I am gutted that it was cut from the original film due to budget limitations but I’m glad that this is the reason the river ride is a thing

Also dinosaurs are terrifying and I’m genuinely scared of what raptors are capable of. And Nedrys death was so much more gruesome
