I’d memorized the face of a male siren who’d shouted, “Ride my face, Angelus Romae,” from the front row of the stadium.
I'm confused, in book one it was said that although sirens understood different languages they couldn't actually communicate with others because they can't actually speak anything other than their language which sounds like weird noises so how did Augustus understand what the male siren said???
