I really wish it was written more coherently. The random quotes and confusing theater acts just make me mad. Some parts are exceptionally good, but a lot of them are just the opposite which creates a huge disadvantage for the entire story tbh.

Some parts of this book are awfully confusing, I also hate the constant recital of lines from different plays.... It's killing the vibe.

This is so dark academia. Although I wish I started reading it in the beginning of fall to get the full effect iykwim........

Yes, I started another book before finishing the other three I am reading.

Slowly, but surely, I'm getting more into it. I suck at time management and that's why I'm so behind on my reading goals.

I kind of want to laugh at some things because they are so unbelievable and UNREAL (literally). Whenever I try to read fantasy I have an incredibly hard time wrapping my head around the fact that none of it is real and I cannot make any comparisons to the real world and it makes me so anxious. Like what do you mean there are 12 magical cards? We don't have magic here on earth. I just need to relax and read the book.

So far so good! I'm a bit confused but I guess the answers will be revealed a bit later in the book which I'm so not used to lol

Oh, how I love interpersonal conflicts.
P.S. have not been reading much because I have very poor time management skills. like down bad.

I will take this book to the grave. Why am I empathizing so much with her? I never empathize with characters, yet here I am balling my eyes out for HER. Am I going crazy? I feel crazy. This book makes me feel crazy. It's provoking every emotion within me and I cannot explain why. This is such a powerful depiction of love and obsession that it almost feels surreal.

I'm laying on my bathroom floor-shattered. I feel so much it HURTS. This by far has been one of the most influential and eye opening novels for me. Megan, you are a genius.

I am almost embarrassed by how much I relate and understand her. Key word is almost, but not enough to stay quite about it.
