Super excited for a hi-fantasy! John Gwynne is supposed to be a masterful story teller even with this being his debut novel. Man has made a name for himself so I’m hoping this will give that GoT vibes but different

Here is the thing. It’s like the same thing chapter after chapter and yea that can be fun but I’m a little bored. Also maybe I flew too close to the sun in this type of book so i might make a pivot and try some other stuff however I still want to see how this plays out. FMC is annoying tho

I’m kinda a little scared. Snakes???? Kiss??? However the book is very pretty so that’s why I got it and the blurb about the book. Haha what the heck this is gonna be crazy

A little confused. Should have re-read the previous books but what ever. Currently I’m obsessed with zodiac academy so I will be focusing more on those books but I’m glad to be back at Basgiath War College

Listening to it in the car and then reading it in person. Probably will finish it in audio because of ONYX STORM

I like it! Not necessarily my speed, just a little slow to get to any action. Very beautifully written but I really have to concentrate here and there with the different timelines. I do really love this concept
