I mean I’m invested in the story now even though the town cannot geographically exist. Also I’ve found several typos so I think this one was rushed to print

I am having a VERY hard time getting into this bc the fictional town of Seaside, WA, is supposed to be on a beach affected by tides (so must be the ocean or Sound, or on the Columbia very close to the ocean, Chapter 1) but also close to I5 (Chapter 4, the amusement park within view of the beach is also within view of the freeway) and also Portland (Chapter 4), and this place cannot exist geographically.

This gives me L. Frank Baum vibes
