Sooo good so far

I appreciated reading about Aly's encounter with Brad 🤢 because her feelings and how freakish this incident was were well portrayed.

It is getting quite interesting

I understand some problems one might have with this one so far, but it is solid and interesting. It's intriguing to see how Singh continues to develop her world.

Lavin is a good guy, almost manic pixie boy good and a little girly.
I do like their interactions.
I do like some of the messages of this book -
Like consent, honesty, communication, celebrating differences and the fact that you don't have to be the best at what you do, you just need to love it.
At first, I liked that Lavin is a virgin, now I had enough hearing about it repeatedly. It gets old.

I was sure it would be a solid 4/5 stars read, a fun light-hearted read.

I really liked Lavin and his goofiness.

However, this is the point when I can say it turned somewhat boring.

The first 20% are just a recap of Oh, Holy Knight, mostly from Erie's POV and mostly unchanged with small details added.

There were like two chapters from Callahgn POV which was interesting but I could do without...

So

The police came to the girls' house.
The sitter knew before that and told them that their parents were dead.
Sally found the aunts contact information. She simply did everything because the sitter was useless.

Rereading because of The Rules of Magic.
So:
1) no mention of Hay or Levi
2) no regards to the Willards so far
3) the aunts did not love those two brothers that were struck by lightning, the intended to meet them.
4) no mention of other death omens beside the beetle (no mention of bees)
5) Sally is afraid of birds
6) no mention of Frances ability with birds
7) The aunts met R more than2
6) no mention of one of

Finally started this one....only 20% in and I'm crying so much....

The ARC arrived in the mail box and it took me forever to load it to my kindle reader (I might have been forced to restart the reader completely. I regret nothing)

I didn’t think I’d ever get a chance to see a bullshitter bullshitting another bullshitter at this level. The bullshit was strong with this family. We’re talking bullshitting Olympics, and they’d both tied for first place.

wow, this is REALLY good so far. previously I sais I liked the lykae books. but now I think I love the witches even more.

Mari was my favorite female till now (Nïx excluded of course, we all not the Nixanator is everybody's favorite Oracle, Proto Valkyrie, Soothsayer without equal and fledgling goddess) but Carrow is also becoming a favorite of mine
