I’m forcing myself to finish this book but Ugh. Also Maddy is so obviously up to something how stupid can these girls be?

Having to read what actually happened to Julia’s parents at the border was really hard on me and when I write an actual coherent review I’ll be sure to include any warnings in it.

The main character is not likable at all and the worst thing about that is that she’s me. I also acted like that when I was her age so I’m just trying to finish reading this without crying

The whole reasoning behind the love potion is really stupid it feels like the author just wanted an excuse to use it and was like "oh well maybe we can use Althea and have her set it up" never mind the fact that it would be completely out of character for her to do anything awful towards her own twin brother.
