I want to get into this series, but something about it is hard for me to focus on. The smut scenes are pretty decent, but they also feel rushed compared to the rest of the pacing.

Lars is finished with Praise (Salacious Players Club, #1)

It wasn't bad, but for a book where the primary kink is supposed to be praise and degradation, there was honestly very little dialogue during the smut scenes that focused on that. My own personal preference would have been to see more dirty talk around the concept.
