I’m obsessed with this book in a way I haven’t been for a while, which is so refreshing

I read this as a child, and I remember loving it and being very confused. So I’m giving it another go!

I want to like this book more than I do, but the dialogue is so stunted.

The archery scene is KILLING ME!!

Really liking it so far, but she’s got to chill with the double adjectives. “Strange and unusual” and “dark, lightless places” are making my English degree shake with annoyance.

I am absolutely enchanted by this book so far.

I have no intention to finish this book. I started reading it for a book club, and I hate it. I’m not really a sci-fi girly, but I’d heard great things so I wanted to give it a fair shot. I made it 75 pages before I just looked up a plot summary. I’m so glad I didn’t keep reading this. It’s not my jam at all.

So many mixed feelings! Really fun read so far but I really don’t love the first person to third person pov change every few chapters.
