I really wanna DNF this because it switched HARD and has a weird rape-y vibe happening. But I’m trying to not DNF books I start this year so hopefully this improves

Writing style is very jumpy (Not sure if this was the popular style of writing in the late 80s?) but am loving this so far. I’ve just gotten bored of romances written today they seem to have the same “formula” so this is a nice change.

Already this is WAY better than the first book in the series.

This is way better than her recent stuff in my opinion, I like that she’s gone back to tell Charlie’s story

I’ve seen a lot of divide on this on but I love it. It’s more literary focused with romantic elements going on in the background I think that’s upsetting to people? Lol

Oh THIS is GOOD. I’ve been in a fantasy slump for the entire year and this is bringing me back I cannot put it down

If anyone is planning on reading this-it’s incredible but it has been difficult to get through becuase of the content

I’ve been putting off reading this because Kristin Hannah will rip your heart out-so far this is OUTSTANDING but yeah this one hurts

I don’t know what crack they were putting in these but man they’re great (despite the horrible covers lol)
