Not feeling this book too much but I’m not giving up…yet.

This book is daunting! Over 600 pages?!? This is not a light-hearted romance book! I’m not sure how much further i’ll get in it though. There’s back and forth for 300 pages and there’s back and forth for 600!!! I can’t do that. But we’ll see.

She’s totally lost me on this one. I’m trying to tough it out because I need to see how it ends. But…ugh. So sad.

Ugh. WHO CARES ABOUT CANDACE?!? STOP giving her chapters!!!

I’m HATING this book. HATING! The fact that the break up is over the dumbest thing EVER makes it even worse. I don’t know if i can actually finish it for real this time. Especially since I have a better book waiting for me.

Movin’ slowwwwwww. Trying not to give up though. Trying REALLY hard.

I’m so bored. The “memories” are a waste of pages so I just don’t read those chapters anymore. It sucks about her mom. My dad had Alzheimer’s and some of it is hitting home, but, not to be a jerk, i want a love story, not a depressing one. I’m trying to get through it though.

This book os pissing me off. Apparently Olivia has this huge secret that she keeps referencing but isn’t talking about it. It’s just being dragged out. And then Simone. I’m definitely not a prude, but she is FILTHY!!!! And the way the guys talk about her is even worse. Not a fan of this book so far.

Adam SUCKS!!! He’s so wishy washy! How could he even consider going back to that b*tch Lindsay???
Also, what is with everyone being pregnant in this series. It’s getting old.

This is a great book. SUPER detailed! You definitely need full attention (and a highlighter) when reading it😂 No half-hearted attempts when sitting down with it.

This book is SO boring. I started it March 7th and I’m just barely making a few chapters a week. She has two stories going on, Scarlett and Jameson, and Georgia and Noah. I understand what she’s trying to do, but it’s just not being done well. It makes me lose interest each time she switches between the couples. I like G & N, that’s the only reason I keep reading.

This book is so boring. All they do is bang and tell each other how beautiful they are until Luke snaps over something stupid. I know something is about to happen because he’s finally letting her take pictures of him (a big no-no). I’m tired of skimming, so hopefully it’s good.

Still dragging but now she’s with Theo and she’s quickly let him buy her expensive things and doing extravagant things with NO protest. As if she expects him to cover her in thousands of dollars. What a brat! I now hate Aspen-Porn-Name-Dawn.

This is so boring and long-winded. And who names their character Aspen Dawn, unless she’s a porn star. SEVER eye roll thus far.

Oh good. More original material. Shane’s son just got kidnapped, like Poppy did in the last book. *HUGE eye roll*

Jensen’s parents are shit too. His grandfather set up a trust with more money than God, as well. Now he’s bribing his parents too. Instead of him almost dying, he almost beat a man to death. It’s just too similar and it’s super annoying. The book could be so much better if she didn’t steal from her own storylines *eye roll*

So i’m enjoying most of the book, but JP is definitely reaching for storylines at this point. Farrah’s (book 1) parents were filthy rich. The dad was scum and was bribed by Jase (Farrah’s brother in book 2). She almost died by an attack. She had a trust set up by her grandfather with more money than God.

I can’t believe how much I hate this book. I’m SO disappointed in CH. How do you make such a despicable, selfish character??? Did you get burned by your husband while writing this book??? WTF???

TOTALLY disappointed so far. I had NO IDEA this was a book about a ghost. I hate it. But I paid for it, so I’m going to continue to try and muddle through, even though I was WAITING for this book to come out since I pre-ordered it back in August. I really had high expectations. Don’t try to prove a point that you can write other genres, try to write a good book.

Suuuuuch a slow read. The author is trying to build up drama through Noah’s ex wife, but it’s just annoying and you can tell the author is trying to add to the storyline, but she’s messing it up instead. Grace’s backstory is long-winded too and it makes me not like her AT ALL. I’m definitely struggling.

3 STARS for Book 2 - Sordid

The goofy drama between Grant and his wife and Grant and his family was drawn out WAY too long. I understood where Bridget was coming from and not pushing him to leave Chelsea, but, grow a backbone girl. It took her too long to push him away. Book 3 better blow me away because this series got a 4.43 stars overall.

God. We get it. You hate your wife and you feel stuck and you have too much pride to go to your brother. What a PATHETIC character 🙄

BOOK 2:
How many times can these people let out a breath they’ve been holding??? And so far, both stories are pretty similar. I’m bored already.

I just finished the first book about Olivia and Preston. It was ok. Formal model coke head was a different twist on the heroine. It could have given her such an interesting personality, but it didn’t really. He was the typical man whore *eye roll*. It was ok. I guess I’d give it 3 Stars. Off to the 2nd book!

There’s so much filter. It’s making it difficult to read. I’m starting to skim. It’s taking a lot away from the story.

I’m SUPER annoyed by Lily. They JUST get together and this HUGE family secret comes out and she’s making it about HER and HER hurt feelings?!? Is she fucking kidding?!? I was really enjoying this book, but it just lost a star for me.

The book is cute, BUT Bree has some secret about her past. She keeps talking about it, has been since the beginning of the book but she won’t tell Austin. It’s fucking annoying and I wish she’d just spit it out. It’s not adding suspense. It’s adding frustration.

OF COURSE SHE’S FUCKING PREGNANT!

And now we’re rewriting the drawing scene from Titanic. Seriously?!?
