Ch31 7:04: poor Babygirl is still trying to walk around the world with a kind and while I don’t wanna say naïve, but kind of naïve heart to believe she can let anyone go. Her sister seemed to accept that it’s a cold world a lot better than she can.

Ch29: reality is sitting in on how she was taken advantage of. Such a sad world to live in where she didn’t have the chance to share any oppositions she might have said.

I think this book would be great for a pre/young teen girls reading club. It handles a lot of topics well without too much graphic detail opening the floor for dialogue.

What a nice way of viewing someone receiving support when looking at the first half of the sentence. She’s not judging her for getting assistance, but judging her for stealing one assistance is available.

While I enjoyed Midnight Library(which took me starting a few times before I got hooked) and Midnight Train, I’m not really enjoying this book of an alien figuring out how to be human. The moments aren’t as touching or self reflective as in the other 2 books and it just doesn’t interest me enough in this moment to continue.

1) how did she not think while at the ball that he wasnt going to notice her talking to Nadia? And with all that they know it wouldn’t be clear to them that she speaks English?

2) the way she’s going into such description over breast augmentation makes me wonder if the author recently went through one and wants to share all her new knowledge.

She really doesn’t get that she has been watched for some time. Personal thought is she is one of many who are being watched and if she truly didn’t take the offer, they would’ve had somebody to ask next. Both, if not more , being watched intensely.
