Finding this book tough to get into, partly because the voice is rather passive. Lots of vistas, but little happening. Just finished the boyhood and moved fairly abruptly into the life of a man who now has a lover and adult problems. Finding I am not invested in the main character who has grown to adulthood. He's neurotic and has a poor relationship with his mother, who he feels is overbearing. Not sure I'll finish

The only problem is that it will end. As real and sharp as a paper cut doused with lemon. The world needs more Palahniuk.
