Reading because I’m mildly procrastinating writing my novel and book club prep this evening haha

This is shaping up to be one of the first few five star books I’ve rated in over a year, holy crap

LISTEN reading has taken a back burner because I’m editing my novel draft but the prose so far in this is STUNNING

When everyone in your circle is actively group reading Mistborn, it does motivate one to pick up the Sanderson backlog again

Honestly Ridoc summed up my entire thoughts on Violet and Xaden’s relationship in five sentences

I would like to shout out the two friends who recommended this book as well as this long layover for having me hooked on, yet again, another 500+ page fantasy novel that is swimming by FAST

I should be reading my travel novels before… but it is time to continue as per my 2024 rotation (which has been a 500+ page fantasy tome, literature with some accolades to devastate emotionally, and then fluffy romance to recover).

My friends know about me reading this. (The consensus is as expected. Neutral).

When I tell you I re-read the first few chapters last night, then woke up at 3am to read a couple more, blissfully unaware the PMWOV announcement would come out this morning???

All jokes aside, I need to finish out this trilogy and know what happens ASAP

Quarter life process might be prompting me to start a YouTube book channel since I’ve already hit the usual of:

• Running a marathon
• Traveling abroad
• Looking into grad school

Back on my fluffy YA grind only because

1. Need to do market research by reading and listening to really old Bing Crosby discography (LONG story)

2. I’m meeting the author soon and I’m STOKED

Still slowly chugging away but shoutout to Breanna who let me scream and rant inside Nana's over every brutal chapter (but really, this novel is incredible)

I wish someone put me on these books sooner. A prologue and three chapters in, it’s incredibly difficult to put down

Rough week of work but ended with my new Kindle case coming in WHOO

AND NOW in celebration I write for twenty four hours at some point this weekend

Not sure whether to up my Goodreads goal— I am CRUISING through and am about to wrap up Book 33 of 50 (Chalice of the Gods).

I said two weeks ago I would be pivoting out of reading romance and into solely fantasy… but then also for the sake of me writing my novel in July, I need to keep reading it (for the science).

Now we are here. Declaration still stands for after finishing my novel though.

Happy Place is getting a Netflix adaptation!!!

For a number of reasons, Beach Read will always be my favorite BUT Harriet and Wyn’s story will always breaks my heart. So excited to be emotionally devastated and cry over them them again and again :’)
