Almost done with reading comp research for this YA contemporary novel… now I just need to fast draft this NA romcom but also catch up on my general backlog

I should really read for comp titles next year and subsequent book clubs, but instead I’m here reading my backlog instead

Another re-read in time for romance book club

Haven’t read anything new because of limited Kindle selection and WiFi while backpacking! So a lot of re-reads of my romcom selection unfortunately

Another re-read for book club

Oh my gosh this is set in ANCHORAGE?!

MISTBORN MOVIE ADAPTATIONS CONFIRMED (I’m scared)

Reading because I’m mildly procrastinating writing my novel and book club prep this evening haha

This is shaping up to be one of the first few five star books I’ve rated in over a year, holy crap

Did someone say comp title research? I think yes

Unfortunately I AM a girlie thinking about so many empires

Can’t wait to read through and recap Book 2 with Randy and Shane WHOO

RF KUANG STANS RISE UP

My brain has been CRAVING reading this for nearly a year. I am ready

Apologies to my neighbor for listening to me gasp every couple of pages (and also singing the Chappell backlog on Saturdays)

Apologies to my neighbor for listening to me gasp every couple of pages (and also singing the Chappell backlog on Saturdays)

LISTEN reading has taken a back burner because I’m editing my novel draft but the prose so far in this is STUNNING

When everyone in your circle is actively group reading Mistborn, it does motivate one to pick up the Sanderson backlog again

“‘Holy shit. Is that noble? Is that twisted? I can’t decide.’ Ridoc pats me on the shoulder, then starts back toward camp. ‘I’ve never been happier to be single. You two have some serious issues.’”

Honestly Ridoc summed up my entire thoughts on Violet and Xaden’s relationship in five sentences

I would like to shout out the two friends who recommended this book as well as this long layover for having me hooked on, yet again, another 500+ page fantasy novel that is swimming by FAST

I should be reading my travel novels before… but it is time to continue as per my 2024 rotation (which has been a 500+ page fantasy tome, literature with some accolades to devastate emotionally, and then fluffy romance to recover).

My friends know about me reading this. (The consensus is as expected. Neutral).

As someone who has been to Lumen Field for multiple concerts, “You reek worse than a stadium bathroom during the fourth quarter of a Seahawks game” OBLITERATED me

Listen, it’s another re-read

BUT

When I tell you I re-read the first few chapters last night, then woke up at 3am to read a couple more, blissfully unaware the PMWOV announcement would come out this morning???

Ms. EH and I are in SYNC.

* to the tune of Sabrina Carpenter’s “Espresso” *

“I’m working late, on my e-reader”

All jokes aside, I need to finish out this trilogy and know what happens ASAP

Quarter life process might be prompting me to start a YouTube book channel since I’ve already hit the usual of:

• Running a marathon
• Traveling abroad
• Looking into grad school
