How am I this far in and feeling like the story hasn’t reached a climax or that it’s anywhere near one?

This is just sad. And gives me a bit of Where The Crawdads Sing vibes. Minus murder. Will I be able to finish it before it gets returned automatically in 2 days? We shall see.

I’m so stressed.

Because gaining 11% on this book is honestly a huge deal.

I’ve picked up this book three different times in the last year or so and just can’t get into it. This is my last chance before I DNF it

Probably shouldn’t start a thriller when Taylor’s on call.

When listening for 1.5 hours at 1.5 speed only gains you 2% 🤣
