Mark finally made it to Pathfinder, and now he is trying to find a way in and maybe communicate with earth.

The people back at NASA realize that he is going to PATHFINDER, an older mission that was sent to Mars.

They believe that if Mark thinks there's no chance of living, he will stop. But there is a chance of living, so Mark keeps going.

NASA is trying to find a way to send Amrk supplies within the little time they have, but Mars doesn't line up with Earth well at the moment, so they are struggling to figure out what to do.

Nasa is hiding from the crew that they left mark on mars.

They found evidence that Mark is alive on Mars.

They're looking for safer ways to communicate with Mark.

It takes about 12 hours for the batteries to charge, and he needs at least 2 liters of water daily to be comfortable.

The journey he is going to take on mars could be 4 weeks.

Mark struggles to take insulation out of the rover but he needs to otherwise it will get to hot with the new and improved thermal system he has.

He tried to travel on Mars but it got far too cold so he had to make a well-working heater but he had to tear some insulation out because it could get too hot with the heater.

They have been drilling on the array for a week alone.

He is calculating the energy needed to travel a bit on mars and then figure out how long it will take to get that energy.

Even though NASA was struggling with what to do on earth, Mark was doing just fine trying to make his environment liveable for the longest time possible.

They were trying to figure out how to send supplies up to mars. Mark on mars turned off his power because the realized he could just wear layers to keep warm.

NASA is trying to find a way to save Mark on mars.

People back on earth found out he is still alive.

He still has to make 300 more liters of water.

There was an explosion and he was breathing in nitrogen.

He put on 3 suits because it was so cold.

He wants to breed bacteria but right now the atmosphere is cold so he cannot.

He found a suit of another astronaut with a granola bar and a USB with an iPod to listen to music.

He had to make a fire but then a bunch of the alarms would go off and It would be annoying, but in order to survive he had to do it.

He is doing a very dangerous experiment to make water.

He is trying to convert hydrogen and oxygen into water.

He can grow potatoes in about half as much time because there are no parasites or weeds that can steal nutrients.

He has plenty of multivitamins but the calories to last are limited.

He is trying to grow potatoes but he doesn't know if the amount he is going to grow will be enough.

The main character is a botanist and plans on using his manure and the rest of the earth's soil he has left to double his food.
