I hate it so far

I know what’s rubbing me wrong with this one: he’s in position ‘rebellious child’ all the time. She’s talking to him from the ‘adult’ position trying to pull him in ‘adult’ position, but he refuses and instead pulls her into the opposite to his position of a ‘parent’. The dynamic is cringy to me.

I don’t like it. The fact that she was hung up on this guy for 8 years is really sad and disturbing. For her. He did you a favor dumping you - he was not the right partner for you at that point and he needed therapy. Why were you wasting your time all these years?
