i have had to reread so many parts of this book so far just to try and understand wtf is happening. i think this writing style just isn’t for me at all :/ it’s almost like i’m being told a story but the person keeps jumping around with diff topics lmao
the horror of this book is basically just paranoia and light gore i guess? it’s not what i was wanting at all, but i’m gonna try my best to finish it smh

this is pretty generic romantasy so i won’t be finishing the series, BUT i will be finishing this book.

i wanted to know why this was so popular, so i decided to give it a chance and let me just say……i get it. i have never audibly laughed like this while reading a dark romance of all things and oh my god, i am eating this shit up 😭😂

if i don’t find out what exactly trinity is soon i’m gonna start screaming!!!! i feel like that’s what has really kept me reading bc this is really hard to put down even though some of the language is questionable??? “chillin… like a villain.” “douche nozzle” and trust me the words and phrases have been worse 😭😭

4.5 only bc the flashbacks were a snooze most of the time

as the conclusion to one of my fav series, i’m really hoping most of my lingering questions are finally answered. 🥺 i’m so stoked to start this!!!!!

starting a reread of this book for the 1,000th time bc absolution came out a couple years ago and i have yet to read that one, but i’m ready for it now :’)

read this series if u haven’t bc this is easily in my top 3 favs i’ve ever read

woah. crazy that kate price’s therapist, dr. van der kolk, is the author of the book “the body keeps the score” which MY therapist recommended for me to read parts of for our sessions.

this is HEAVY. i’ve had to take multiple breaks from reading this to ground myself already bc this is VERY hard to read.

i love the concept of this, but i suppose i’m not getting the story i wanted.
this is SO slow that i find my mind drifting constantly and i cannot find myself connecting to the characters at all. :(
i’m determined to finish this but i honestly don’t have high hopes

i’m sad i have to stop reading this at the moment :(
my eyes are so dry bc i don’t think i blinked enough while reading just bc i can’t absorb this story quick enough.
holy shit i hope the ending is as good as what i’ve read so far. i’m obsessed.
i love multiple story lines so MUCH and this is written so well and has easily exceeded any expectations. i’m excited to finish this!!!
