the life of chuck: oh lort how this one hurt!! the out of order storytelling was lovely and i think painted his life well. i think this is what the review on the back was getting at when they said king’s ability to describe pure joy rivals his ability to terrify us. two short stories in and all im feeling is the pain of love and life lol

mr harrigan’s phone: i know it’s meant to be creepy, but something about it was comforting. an old man found comfort in a boy who opened his world, and in death he helped the boy find closure to the hard parts of life. i love ghosts i think
