So far, so good. But I feel like the story is lustful and the plot falls flat. There's no intensity. I mean, there's a little but it isn't enough. The book has got the potential, but the book is only "telling" instead of "showing" and that's boring. Sometimes, there are pages of explaining that isn't lively. So I'm losing interest. But I'd also say I'm reading only because it's something new and I've never read such.

I'm quite confused with Wyn's behaviour. He is obsessed with Kham, but is also cold towards her. Distant towards her. I understand that he can't fall in love with her because he thinks her loyalty lies with her own kingdom. And she thinks she can't fall in love with him because he is hot and cold with her, comes to her at night but not during the day. Is very distant now, but also is caring and kind. I don't get it!!

Okay okay, I'm getting into the book. And the writing is gooood.

Okay, Nesta is warming up to Cassian, BUT WHY THE HECK IS MOR SO DEFENSIVE ABOUT CASSIAN NOW? Like she always showed interest towards Azriel a bit more than she did towards Cassian, so what changed now? Also, I could see Nesta getting jealous *whistles*. Would love those scenes. Also Azriel seems to only actually as a friend these days? He's with Elain most of the time. Mor is annoyed to not have anyone I guess hehe.

Okay, I'M SOOOO INVESTED, but I'm also scared that this is gonna be "angel-human" kinda relationship, which would mean I can't read anything anymore because THAT'S A SIN AND I SHOULDN'T BE READING IT

The book is actually interesting. I do want to know what happens. The writing could've a little more descriptive, and more of showing than just telling. But the plot is kinda keeping up for that.

I'M SOOOO INVESTED INTO THE STORY

It feels like the book is being dragged even when it's not needed. The progress isn't so great and I could see that the entire story IS BEING TOLD INSTEAD OF BEING SHOWED. I hate that so much. I actually liked the first book and thought that it was a good contemporary romance novels, but I didn't expect the sequel to be bad. And I really don't think there's a real reason for the book to be this long.

Kinda bored and leaning towards DNFing it.
