Joanna’s writing is so gorgeously eloquent with even the smallest word choice. One of my personal favorite images was “curiosity curling” because of the catlike imagery. It’s those small touches that make her such a brilliant writer.

I also find myself throughly engaged, along for the ride—ready for all the twists, turns, and everything in between.

Truly, this book allows the reader to reflect on how he/she would handle a similar situation. Adversity has a way of bringing to light what we thought we'd never see.
