Dawes still most relatable character. I, too, would always rather be reading and require soup after stressful events

When does the beautiful writing the cover promised me start. Very much asking for me

Type of cover that will get you a hilarious amount of stares if you’re a commute reader

Confused but delighted the book my library marked as YA has a thirty year old mc for the majority of it (as well as by literally everything else)

I don’t know whether to kick my feet and twirl my hair, furiously take notes, or scream. Or all at the same time

Still so funny for a character to claim he never had anything handed to him and in the next paragraph you find out he’s the president’s son

Can't believe I've found the perfect heatwave book now that the heatwaves are over

Obsessed with other characters being like ‘Anne is such a stupid girl she’s so frivolous’ and then you switch to Anne’s perspective and it’s all fully on purpose

Potentially a hot take but I’m finding the modern timeline FAR more interesting than the past(?) one

The way this first half was written really made it feel like just a really long prologue

I’m glad all these characters are talking about their feelings, but it’s really hard to care about endless conversations when the world is literally ending in three days

This is what I imagine running a marathon feels like

The way this has me by the THROAT

For a book about two best friends they sure spend a lot of time not even being in the same place

This book has so many similes that make no sense like what do you MEAN he looks like a guy who buys bread at the store

Het is niet alsof ik graftak nou elke dag gebruik maar zou het wel een groot gemis vinden als het zou verdwijnen

Meryem textbook definition of girlbossed too close to the sun

Absolutely classic Maggie Stiefvater book: characters keeping secrets from me, negligible plot, vibes are exquisite

Animal companions are OUT, sassy talking keys are IN

Asking me what this book is about will lead to several minutes of unintelligible rambling that will only make clear that I’m loving it

It’s extremely important for your health to read a book on an insanely random topic every once in awhile (source: dude trust me)

So readable it’s insane

I’m all for feminist retellings but Hera is such a bitch it honestly makes this less fun to read

Makes me want to pace around my living room in anger at the world

The type of book you just want to pitch head-first into and not emerge until it’s over

This is good but not hitting like I think it can so pausing for now

This definitely makes no sense, whether it compels me remains to be seen

Love the undercurrent of anger at the British museum just present here

'Who needs sleep when you've got an overactive imagination' new most relatable chapter title in history

Thomil has literally had two chapters so far and both have absolutely killed me
